Reza joined Alderney Landing in July 2024, bringing his passion for inclusive community engagement and event coordination. Recruited by Lori Laderoute after standout volunteer work at Nova MultiFest, he is being mentored to lead Alderney Landing’s Signature Events and also works with Lisa Josey on Saturday Markets, while coordinating Wednesday Markets.
Originally from Iran, Reza adds a global perspective, including introducing the Norooz Market to celebrate Persian New Year. He holds a Master’s in Art History and is fluent in Farsi and English. Actively engaged in the local community, he volunteers with Spencer House, the Halifax Public Library, ISANS, and ALCC’s Movie and Philosophy Community, consistently fostering inclusive, vibrant spaces.
