Requirements:
Youth between the ages of 18 – 30 and entitled to work in Canada as a citizen or permanent resident. Preference will be given to university students or recent graduates with an interest in art and culture nonprofit careers.

Alderney Landing is a vibrant community hub that serves as a theatre, market, gallery, and event space, providing a dynamic environment where arts, culture, and community intersect. Our mission is to support and enrich our community through diverse cultural programming, fostering creativity, inclusivity, and engagement.
We produce a range of signature events that celebrate local talent, traditions, and innovation, including festivals, performances, and art exhibitions. Additionally, we host major events from various organizations, providing a versatile space for cultural celebrations, markets, and community gatherings. Alderney Landing thrives as a center of activity, connecting people through shared experiences and meaningful programming. Our fine art summer camps are an integral part of our commitment to fostering creativity and artistic development. These camps offer young artists the opportunity to explore various art forms, learn from professional instructors, and express themselves in a supportive and inspiring environment. By nurturing creativity and artistic expression, our summer camps empower participants to discover their potential while building connections within the community.
The Gallery and Events Assistant plays a multifaceted role within this dynamic environment, working collaboratively to support the unique needs of each department—be it the theatre, market, gallery, or events. This role ensures the seamless integration of activities, contributing to the success of Alderney Landing’s diverse offerings while fostering a vibrant and inclusive community atmosphere.
