The Craig Gallery at Alderney Landing is a public art gallery programmed by a Volunteer Committee made up primarily of Dartmouth Professional Artists. The Gallery’s mission is to introduce the works of emerging and established local artists collectively providing a diversity
The Craig Gallery presents approximately 12 exhibits a year, 1 exhibit per month.

The Craig Foundation for the Visual and Performing Arts
Founded by Jack and Joan Craig, this private family foundation supports the visual and performing arts in Nova Scotia. As long time philanthropists, Mr. and Mrs. Craig have contributed to a number of local and provincial organizations with emphasis on the visual and performing arts. The Craig Foundation contributed significantly to Alderney Landing's Capital Campaign and in recognition of their donation; Alderney Landing's Art Gallery is designated in their honor.
The Craig Gallery Advisory Committee
The Craig Gallery Advisory Committee meets four times a year to review and select exhibit proposals. In the past year, the committee has seen the number of proposals increase due to the growing popularity of exhibiting at the Craig Gallery. Current members Rose Adams, Tom Forrestall, Margi Hennen, Marilyn Forrestall, Jane Schlosberg, Julie Adamson Miller, Bob Williams, Bea McGregor and Lee Cripps are responsible for developing programming, recommending policy, and selecting exhibits for the Gallery.
Sunday - 11:00am to 3:00pm
Monday - CLOSED
Tuesday to Friday - 12noon to 5:30pm
Saturday - 9:00am to 5:00pm
