Alderney Landing houses a professional,
fully-equipped 285 seat theatre - the perfect destination for
a night on the town or your troupe's next production. Now the
home of Eastern Front Theatre Company, Alderney Landing theatre
is also host to professional performance and dance from around
the world, as well as adapting to serve its clients and community
in Nova Scotia.
The theatre was constructed as an integral
part of the Alderney Landing complex, a cultural convention centre
carefully designed to beat in the heart of downtown Dartmouth
and fulfill the area's stirring promise of economic and cultural
revitalization.
Because of it's unique, profoundly adaptable
design, the theatre has been used for a wide variety of purposes
since its construction, from dinner theatre to stadium seated
giant-screen arcade games to a dance and reception hall for countless
weddings; and of course in its first role as a top-rated music
venue, dance and theatre space.
